Everyone hated the offer. Lynas holders, the Lynas board, the market and WES holders if you read their hotcopper board. Only people who liked it were the WES BOD.
They are not idiots, this has been presented very intentionally in exactly the way the WES board wanted. Oh the mind races as to whether there is more to it than an honest beginnings to acquire a new asset.
