Its a very interesting question and one that I might be able to shed some light on.
OpenDNA is a pesonalization engine. If you use Android then download Google news. Thats an example of what OpenDNA wants to do.
Say you looked up news about "malcolm turnbull". Then your feed will start having interesting articles about malcolm turnbull beginning to appear. Similiarly, Google news based on your clicks will find the news that you are most likely to click on and customize your news feed according to your liking.
The way they do this is via machine learning. The most common example of OPN capability is to look at Google's openai experiments.

Draw something and Google's machine learning will predict what you are drawing. With more inputs fed , it becomes smarter.
Now imagine , you spend hours scouring political news then it would be easy for your Netflix to suggest series like "house of cards" because well your intrests are political in nature.
So it is basically a personalization tech which records our prefrences and makes our life easy by suggesting entertainment, food , health , financials and so on.
