To be honest, when I talked about empathy, I should have been more general i.e. you are 100% correct, there are other posters on HC other than rolling who create unwanted anger and anxiety.

It is interesting how we all recount history slightly differently. Actually I have a long list of private contacts who see the last 3-4 years entirely differently. They just don't post (they are way smarter than me!)

Of course I couldn't apologize for my early predictions until they went horribly wrong, which was around mid 2017. It was crazy of me to even consider making any SP predictions (at the time it seemed like a good idea). The initial hiatus that I took was due to the poster called Vulture who, if you remember, used bad language in 2 or 3 particularly uncalled for posts and attacked me personally. He was suspended for doing so for one month as far as I know (roaminoz and other posters will know the exact details better than me). I left in disgust. The last hiatus was basically due to the fact that I was run out of town for no apparent reason by an over exuberant new moderator "J"? (once again roaminoz and other posters will know the exact details better than me).

After making my infamous but also well intended SP predictions ( I believe in 2016?), and generally being thanked for them, as well as for my lengthy and very regular EdenCrete/GDOT updates in 2015, 2016 and early 2017, as soon as the SP started to drop rapidly (around mid 2017), the mob turned so to speak (probably quite understandably in retrospect). Nevertheless I was surprised and therefore ill prepared for such a vicious backlash. Unfortunately I also had a very serious health problem at the same time (minor heart attack and emergency gall bladder operation/removal). To be brutally frank: I handled things badly, no excuses! Unfortunately this backlash still exists today, as you have also made quite clear in both your previous posts. In hindsight, I should have known that this comes with the turf i.e. the internet never forgets.

To be honest, I only recently came back to HC at the request of nursery (the poster) who stated on February 14th (this year): "I am genuinely interested in what he believes is the position, the future and a timeline for events to unfold". I sensed here a change of mood, which was encouraging, and I felt that out of respect to nursery and other HC members, it was an appropriate time to comply with his polite request and give my two cents worth (for what it is worth?) which I did on 20.02.2019. Unfortunately I now very much regret having done so (no offence to nursery).

Before I close I have two honest questions:

1. Could you please explain your comment "you now leave the denial of things said to the rest of the gang". Which denial of things said? Said by me? Which gang?

2. Could you please also explain your statement "I see in another post this morning your contact is back. I hope its not the same one that got you in so much trouble 3 years ago". What trouble 3 years ago? If this refers to my contact at Daimler AG/Mercedes Benz in Stuttgart, I have known him for nearly 30 years and he is an extremely close friend. The lengthy personal conversation that we had was on November 14th, 2015 at my wife's 50th birthday party. If you are referring to smooge (the poster), as far as I am aware I had no trouble with him either, 3 years ago or ever.

Unfortunately I have now done what I vowed that I would never do again i.e. get involved in scrimmages with single posters (no offence). These minor dust-ups usually end very badly for me here, as you have already astutely observed.

Your reply to my request was appreciated, particularly by myself. I agree with most of what you are saying at this stage. You probably have more faith in management than I. However, as I have said in the past, "Edencrete is probably good enough for EDE to prosper in the long term despite bad marketing decisions". In my humble opinion of course.

Keep posting. You contribution is part of a necessary healthy and meaningful debate.
