    FOr a UG mine I find as an investor in UG narrow vein mines (not open cut) to stay clear of horizontal ore bodies (bench ) and prefer dykes that are close to vertical as both dilution and ease of mining is easier , especially in Australia who do not have the skill sets the South Africans have in using scrapers to muck out horizontal ore bodies .
    There was a mine "old pirate" in the Tanami that had a flat ore body that failed to live up to production rates and also had high dilution due to being horizontal ore body, that a mate lost money on
