Gday All Apologies for my lateness with the goods, but dial up and drop out probs with the internet, plus work and girlfriend, just not enough minutes, but that's another topic for someplace else.
I'm glad they have sorted out the problem with the little yellow plastic bits feeding into the machine. they were jamming because of burrs on the open day and were being manually pushed down the feed shute by the tech guy.
They had all their new products on display and wwe could touch and play with them including the Secure Touch Syringes. Very simple pieces of kit.
Spoke to the MD and the Medico's there. 50million units of 1ml syringes is what the government supplies to Intravenous drug users and Diabetics annually in OZ alone. Current retractables are too expensive. These are 2c dearer so they cant afford not to buy them. Eg law suits from needle stick injuries. Its an extra cost of $1m per annum. Thats one law suit. not to mention the costs of AIDs and HIV tests.
The first machine will return to OZ for our market once the second machine with double the capacity is built and sent to Korea. Then they will build a 2/3ml machine and a 5/10ml machine. The temperature tags should be developed after the second machine. They will target the wine industry first with temps in the 20degree range. They also wish to purchase similar business like Bagot which hold a monopoly in printing for the medical industry. Those little stickers on your prescription medicine... All in all a good day, beers wine food and the new Sales and Marketing Lady is a girl from my year at High School!
