As far as I was aware these class actions only applied to SH's that bought shares between certain dates.
Not to mention even if you could participate in the class action, the law firms participating are classed as unsecured creditors and are not going to recieve a cent after the administrators, liquidators, banks & government bodies take their cut.
If you read the report, shareholders & class actions sit Wayyyyy below all the other debts the administrators will have to pay & still, I'm assuming the investigation after the liquidator hands it down can claw back money from those individuals that haven't transferred their assets to others so as not to loose everything. and/or getting government to cough up on services rendered.
Plenty of dodgy happenings are going on & from reading the report VET has more than missed the odd disclosure on internal performance.
My only reprieve will hopefully be, seeing the liquidators report being handed to ASIC and the directors pursued (new & old) and charged under the relevant law.
