Shakin, not so sure they'll hit TD this w/end unless they run into some easier drilling layers.
Last update (2/7) they had set the 7" liner at 2,356m MD, were at 2,457m MD and currently PooH to change out the 6" bit.

They would've had the bit out when cementing the 7", so if they've only gone a further 101m since tripping the string back in, they either didn't change the bit out before reentry, or they've got some pretty abrasive formation in front of them...or the driller's too heavy handed.

From that depth it would've taken about 7.5hrs just to get the bit to surface, then that again to trip back in, so if you'd seen a worn bit while setting the 7", you wouldn't go back in with it knowing you've got around a 15hr change out trip.

Drilling ahead can also be slowed with the smaller OD string required in the 6" hole, probably 3.5" or 4" DP, something around that...the pressure applied has to be reduced for a number of reasons..."...drilling performance has been reduced in the 6” hole section."

So I guess what I'm saying is, probably best not to expect anything till around mid next week, although it's hard to put a finger on it exactly from trying to work out the drilling speed from disjointed ann's....imo of course.

Let's hope the wait is worth it.
