Time will tell, but it would certainly have the effect of opening doors for DES. It's advertising arm in particular. Certainly would ad to the list of allies it has built. Newcorp,Prime,Foxtel,Nine spring to mind. The BYI is still to be played out and the concept of a JV with Mariner has merit.
The Half yearly is due 28 of Feburary, and I'm particularly interested to see how well their online advertising group have travelled. I have some expectations on their content sales but will be paitent as long as its heading north. (Still need to put a dent in piracy to turn this section into a bolter). Lots of maybes and unknowns too make DES an interesting stock. (the aspect they could discover the next "Silverchair" or Wolfmother" is not beyond the realms of possibility.)
