it's not a case of Aldi and Amazon having the ability to dodge taxes, but rather our inept politicians who are blessed with the 'inability' to actually do their duty.
then again, allegedly, we have very senior personnel in the tax office who have offspring who flout the rules and are gaining misappropriated millions, but they give it the green light regardless, as if you would be surprised.
no wonder paying the ATO is a thankless task that leaves a bad taste in your mouth, so much so, that no mouthwash will make it 'sterile'.
