Why have you labelled Amazon as garbage?
They have achieved economies of scale within their operating model. FACT.
My son is being taught Amazon's distribution and inventory systems in year 11 high school.
Why would you trash the competition? If you envy them, you should replicate them. They have done something better that consumers deeeeemanddddd.
