Correct, being an ASX suspended trading entity does not suspend the requirement to meets its continue disclosure obligations under ASX Listing Rules (3). In this case periodic disclosure obligations under ASX Listing Rule (4) may well apply as well given the end of financial year results are now due.

However this being said, that media article that was published not long ago looks like someone wanted to chew out Paul Duckett and either they were fed the information or the journalist was given a brief to go chase him, personally I suspect the former. AYB has no obligation to respond to this article but the deafening silence right now isn't helping their cause.

Frankly it seems AYB have got themselves into a bit of a pickle and it would appear some healthy ego's are at play as well. The ASX making the call to suspend the company from trading isn't a bad thing in this case but using ASX Listing Rule 11 raises all sorts of speculation and again the silence is deafening.

But then Fiji isn't the solution to their problem either...
