Didn't trade as there was not enough volume available for me to buy or sell with TAS and having bought up on TAS lately I wish to sell EDE but not at the price offered today.
One share trades can catch people out. I had an order in to buy SO4 a few days ago. My order was partly filled with one share. Then the price has gone up ( the reason I was buying at my price that day). So I now hold 1 share in SO4 at a cost of $20.45 when todays price is 49c.
Jumping the queue fair enough but one share trades should be banned where they are used to manipulate. Remember it can take minutes for the mums and dads to place an order. The bots can do it in milliseconds AND they have knowledge of your bid well in advance as well having knowledge of where stops are set. Often these manipulations are there to trigger stops and you know what that means.
It was a planned move for the one share trade today and isn't it odd that it was done to EDE today as well.
There was something gained and lost today. Sellers at open should have had a better result. The opening price on both TAS and EDE stifled volume for the rest of the day.
