So let me ask you this question in regards to this... they need a level playing field, not allow bots in auctions.

So if bots were removed and you, I or anyone else for that matter altered our order before the auction executed to make a 1 share trade happen, even though my amended order still was a buy/sell for over $500 worth of stock that I should be outlawed too?

The only manipulation happening is that a bot can do it in an instant as it is constantly scanning the market depth and changing when needed, where as any human can only do it at the speed our brokerage platform allows.
