They need not get rid of auctions they just need to level the playing field. No one share trades ( or only allowing offers with a minimum quantity or volume) and possibly disallowing bot trades during the auction period.
I trade with Westpac and will take it up with them in the event that the balance of the order is not filled. Thanks for the suggestion.
