I would caution (from my experience with Tomra Sorters) that tuning the Tomra device may take some significant time. There is a good reason for this. The settings on the sorter that worked for Lucapa may not work for Merlin, and Tomra themselves will do everything to help, but these machines are cutting edge and there is likely still some learning to be had. That is my experience. I suggest that Merlin will be conservative in their quarterly report and say commissioning is still proceeding for some time. That is in all of our interests; as you don't want the machine to miss any diamonds, because the calibration was rushed and not tested thoroughly. Calibration/tuning is after all trial and error, with lots of trials and hopefully little error.. But I will reiterate, when it is tuned; watch this space..
