the news on when operations will resume has been mixed - I am going on the following logic.
By all accounts the flooding south of Moomba is much less severe than north - and the roads are expected to open their first.
VPE operates PEL 115 which is south of Moomba (just south of Toolachee)
They and their partner MHL are eager to perforate their potential Murta discovery at Fury
When this operation starts I am guessing the northern roads will follow in about 1-2 months.
To my knowledge no substantial operation away from Moomba have recommenced so therefore the September timing still could be possible if the Fury work got going soon.
