I envy you getting in at 5.5c. I think that no matter what happens you will win and I congratulate you for being smarter than me. I have been in a long time and have seen the current management destroy my portfolio. So, I get a bit bitter at times.
Contractors come and go, a good contractor with a competent crew and a competent plan that fits in with company goals is vital to success. A good manager sorts that out before the work starts. generally, a walk off is caused by non performance by one side or the other. Its often 50/50. A great manager can get the job done even when his contractor is faltering.
I have been in this business for 25 years and I can tell you that OEX does not suffer from excess greatness. But the assets are good and if they can realize 10% of their potential, then we will all win. Its just such a shame that they are far from realizing 100% of their potential.
