Pleasing rise in IFN's price today, quite contrary to the market. Watch carefully.

There are so many moving parts in the renewable energy equation: better wind turbines, better solar cells and a revolution in batteries. Then there are the L/NP rearguard political actions buying stranded coal assets some time so they can be run for cash and the big sunk investments in fossil fuels retrieved. Good decisions are difficult when surrounded by this much unpredictability. Yet decisions must be made - some options must be closed and others enlarged.
IFN's share price has been weakening a while, pending decisions and announcements. Yet poor commercial decisions would really kill the business - there are many skilled observers (plus an army of doctrinaire muppets itching for influence) poised to take on any entity that does not conform to their world-view.
This is hard. IFN management has my support - and my commiserations.
