A small percentage of the public, formed into some protest group, always seeinga huge threat to the environment given the introduction of any mining project . With themedia in tow adding its flare to the rivalry as it tugs on emotional heartstrings with its pics of dying potatoes and homeless knee rattled stalks all cringingin the shadowed ruthless rein of a tyrannical government monopoly.
But yet if these groups ever stopped to just take a look at the extensiveenvironmental restraints these mining companies actually needed to adhere to. They’dfind their over active imaginations suddenly falling well short of the credible rationale behind why these projects do always seemingly eventuate.
