Dont believe I have ever formally stated the consultation process would take 6 years, maybe you misunderstood.

My understanding is the "whitepaper" will need to be completed and all comments will need to be addressed. Without knowing how many comments or what they entail i couldn't give you a time frame, no one could. If during the consultation period a comment, concern or issues is raised that are not appropriately addressed then the company will have to revise its documents. Its ot just a comment period, it is a consultation period thats made public. We are not just talking your average person commenting on the project here. There will more than likely be professional consultants combing over every detail and aspect of the project, especially considering radioactive material is involved.  The important thing to realize is the real possibility that it could take time and potentially delay the process. Its simply a different POV from someone who doesn't have such a vested interest as some do in this company.
