I just took a look at the Santos STO 1/2 year Financial report. An Underlying Profit of $217 million and a $104 million profit after tax.
A good turnaround from previous losses. The market has responded accordingly.
OMH profit figures will be in the same ball park, but what a difference in Market Cap, debt and P/E
OMH market cap of under $1 billion ............ STO $13 billion.
OMH debt $420 million ................................STO debt $2.4 billion
OMH forward P/E will be 4 ....................... STO is a P/E of 35
