Think back to when BRU was spun off. One of the reasons I invested was that the Yulleroo and Vallhalla drills were basically discoveries. The jam jar had been loosened and all BRU had to do was come in and give it an appraisal twist. In hindsight it seems so obvious. Even though I got in at 26c I still wish I was more heavy handed with my initial investment and more aggressive sub 60c because I "knew" they were sitting on good shows (Pictor etc as well). In a lot of ways Cyrene is a lot like that although in a lesser way. It's not a wildcat well where the roll of the dice is reset. It's derisked to a small extent by Hedonia, the maths are that little bit better. Yes I get that many current holders are down on the company. I know in '09 many BRU holders were antagonistic towards management (although in this case with EGO involvement it's probably warranted) but as someone who likes to think they get the early seats on these things and am happy to sit and wait patiently for extreme leverage to be reflected in the SP, and as someone who has invested in the canning for ~6 years I believe they have a good crack at it. Of course this is largely predicated on NSE having success next door, so we won't have to wait long to find out how the unconventionals might go and it's not a LT BESBS because of that.
Just trying to convey to some of the long term holders that a lot of the new shareholders are here for significant and real reasons and frankly don't give a hoot about anything else but the Canning.
