Thanks for your reply. Your comments and advice are noted however I was alluding to the float and shares issued under the prospectus not the total shares and options on issue when making the comment regarding some people receiving more than the $2k allocation.
These investors would not have got them for free as they are required to pay for them to ensure the total amount raised under the prospectus is correct. The first quarterly cashflow report will confirm this I am sure.
I also don't have an issue with those that held shares in the company prior to the float as they would have been the ones providing seed capital to take the comany to a position to list. I was once told the expected average return for this type of seed capital investment is 6 - 10 time the initial investment which seems fair as they take the greatest risk investing in a private company not bound to the same rules and regulations as a listed one.
Regarding the people behind the scenes sometimes it takes sharks to start a feeding frenzy!
