As a newcomer to HC I only became aware of the Quick Search facility after my first post. Having now read all of the posts on the OIP/GGX merger I am comforted and encouraged in knowing that mine is not a lone voice opposing that scurrilous merger.

Hardmano and fellow travellers you make some very telling points for which I thank you all. As I see it the challenge for us now, as hopeless as it may seem, is two fold: (1)to get our message out to all OIP shareholders who are not shareholders in GGX before next Wednesday's meeting and (2) to lodge our complaints with the regulator.

In regard to getting our message out this HC website has done a fine job. I have already sent my post to the business editor of the Herald-Sun, John Beveridge. [email protected] I would urge all of you to do likewise. Even if only your posts to HC.

Re contacting ASIC: I did that on 9th December. ASIC's reply is copied below from a Chrisiie Furness, Analyst Misconduct and Breach Reporting Team, and another was received from an Elizabeth Korpi (ASIC Lawyer)explaining what we already know about the vote on DM's shares. Elizabeth did invite me to 'phone her on 02 9911 2481. I shall be 'phoning her today advising her to look at the HC website if she needs evidence of misconduct... perhaps I shall copy her some of your posts.

Some will say it's like tilting at windmills, but we must try, we might just get a lucky break.
