It just isn't going to happen. Magna are not going to try a takeover before results are known. And 30c wouldn't be successful anyway. Why would investors sell out so cheaply on the cusp of knowing whether there is a very rich field out there. Simply Magna will bide their time and if field is proven will pay up an appropriate amount OR another likely scenario might be a 50/50 partnership to take control of the commercialisation.

To me this OEX play is a high risk/high reward one. If Cambay doesn't achieve the results then OEX share price will get hammered from current levels, if it is proven as commercial, the share price will explode.
