OK eyes and exactly what local gas projects has the MEL Board committed to?
Would that be the gas supply to Richmond Dairies? I don't think so since the Dairies have committed to LNG and I suspect terminated our very first GSA. The termination that the Board never bothered to tell us.
Or is it the local power station for which they are still holding approval? Again don't think so as there has not been a single submission in relation to further progress.
Or is it strengthening our CSG reserves? Oh no, wait these were the reserves that MEL advised the Reserves Certifier could not be developed for more than 5 years. So guess not.
Ah then it must be more conventional gas exploration? Yes that must be it. The one where we are placing all our faith in the single option of successfully suing the NSW Government. No indication that we might look at a different location or look at some medium path. No, it is much easier to sit on the sidelines and lean 100% on the crutch of a difficult NSW environment. At least AGK and STO keep tying different options - heaven knows even in the midst of all the hullabaloo AGK even managed to frac some wells in NSW. But then confected outrage is so much easier.
MEL can't even argue that as our Licence is suspended we can't do any work. The suspension only covers PEL 16 and wouldn't apply to the approved power station project or PELs 13 or 426.
So eyes, exactly which local gas projects are MEL pursuing - I am all ears (maybe eyes as well).
