    Ho acorn,
    The USA has turned the corner with respect to oil imports.
    Its peak import year was 2007 with an average of 420 mil
    bbls/month.

    Year to date its average oil imports are 280 mil bbls/month.

    Since 2008 Ausralia's dependance on import oil is increasing.

    Are we slow learners?
