Hard to beat the volumes the big shorters can throw at their task. 'Would be' buyers are more cautious and usually wait while the shorters are controlling the SP. Shorters frustrate me but am learning to be patient about them. I do enjoy it though when they get caught short when a big announcement comes through, can actually take a bit of short term profit while the SP is ramped up while they are trying to cover.
