I expect many passenger vehicles to convert to electric over the next decade but there is no oil alternative for heavy machinery and logistic vehicles/vessels short term which are the largest consumer. Batteries do not have the required power density for trucks/shipping and hydrogen is still years out so oil demand will keep increasing.
