Agreed with the observation that the management of this venture has been very good. And Monday morning quarterbacking aside, the decision making at each key inflection point, has been sound. IMO. That said, my experience has been that poorly run explorers that deliver material quantities of discovered resources/reserves always outperform the best managed and run explorers that nevertheless fail to discover. Our exploration journey is still work in progress, so conclusions are premature. But discovery is mission critical. While we can probably farm the potential identified in seismics and validated by vintage drilling data, and no doubt that will be a material value creation exercise for most shareholders - Proof always trumps potential. Can you imagine the impact of a well managed company AND sizeable confirmed discovery?
