Yes playing the game when they have a combined EIA and Strategic reported reserves of over 1b barrels in the US, could be interesting. Certainly creates a 'trading swing environment' I understand that that they were planning to run down the Strategic reserves from about 2025 onward as peak oil begins to shrink...if it ever does! May just start the process early, get it wrong and just watch the SPIKE!!
Not so sure that the Anti's will have much influence on Federal land. Local politicians at state level tend to get spooked easily. Where as DC just ignores the tree huggers.....not that they have trees that far north.!!
