When I see the conventional wisdom of the herd converge so aggressively around an economic theorem (such as a commodity price cycle) so as to attempt to totally debunk it, then I go a step further than just saying this is not only NOT the end of oil, but in fact the BEGINNING of it.

In money-where-mouth-is terms I have in recent months - for the first time in a decade and a half - acquired listed securities that are derivatives of the global oil industry.

I can see the supply-side shock - the one that will precipitate the next upswing - already unfolding before my very eyes.

Madam,

Yes it amazes me, I've got people telling me that the sell trade is in Amcor because of their very small exposure in Venezuela, yet they have the oil trade side of that political drama amongst others slapping them in the face.

That's my simple view on things anyway.
