Some of his argument is compelling, but there is too much zealotry in it to be taken as gospel.

Planes won't fly on renewables any time soon.

Nor will heavy road transport.

Nor will be seaborne freight.

Nor will heavy construction equipment.

Nor will heavy farm machinery.

Nor will heavy rail freight.

Nor can nitrogen based fertilisers be made from the sun or wind.

Passenger vehicles, yes for sure.

This is NOT the end of oil imo.
