It is my faith in Eric Streitberg, and belief in his capability that brought me back (too soon) to ARQ. I do believe he is a professional and disciplined "oil hunter", which does set him apart from the crowd I refer to.
Just very jaded with the oiler patch myself, and very poor returns. Perth basin dusters have also tested my faith in Eric as an "oil finder".
Doesn't alter the fact that my money would have better been on oil futures (or an oil storage tank) than on oilers these past 4 years. On the other hand nickel stocks have way outperformed the underlying commodity.
I have just enough ARQ to get a decent meal if Eric does score an elephant.
