To quote the smh article "The Philippines has only four mineral processing plans, two for gold and two for nickel".
So what constitutes a processing plant? Is it the production of gold bars? That should not be a problem. Is it the processing of gold in some kind of industrial process (e.g. electronic circuits, or even jewellery)?
This is such a political and ill-defined policy that we are dependent on OGC to play the political game with this one. So far they have been successful and so keep fingers crossed is my opinion.
Hopefully, the Philippine announcement is the only negative on OGC today and there is not a negative in the quarterly with insider knowledge contributing
