Whilst you're on the subject of 'Exactly what happened for the ANZ to take security over them?' re Dom's holdings ...
I've been wondering (much in part due to reading some of Ctindale's posts on other threads to do with Opes) about the following:-

- how is it that Dom did all of those ASX director holding releases when he didn't actually own the shares he declared (or did he think he did; or did he actually own them at that stage?!!)

- when DES 'purchased' the 10% blocking-stake (as declared via ASX releases), did they actually have that stake? If they didn't, did they think they did and were mistaken due to legals or misinformed by Opes?

As suggested elsewhere, the latest Opes mess is creating a pile of ASX irregularities ... are ANZ going to declare their substantial holdings to the ASX for every stock they have large numbers of?
