23 December 2017 that Momis said "to develop the mine by any other developer would be “untenable” under current circumstances."
8 January 2018 he said "Mr Momis said the moratorium was focussed more on closing the door on BCL rather than mining itself, and despite Panguna's history, there are other developers showing interest."
You can see how the circumstances have changed since, BCL has been removed and other developers are now tenable
