there is a move to build more solar and wind with their prices falling over the past decade or so
apparently in Australia the renewables share of generation rose higher last year to 20% of the total production. I have seen figures of over 40% in California and in the United Kingdom they have virtually moved away from coal but do have nuclear
the amount of solar and wind power under or slated to start in construction or be completed in Australia this year is a fact out there to google and see. with no coal fired yet
anyway getting back to the stock, this solar and wind renewable power needs storage with batteries being part of the mix at either behind the meter, to support the grid or attached to large scale farms
I guess the hope is that Anteo can be part of the battery solution in this area and hopefully be part of bringing down the price of batteries for electric vehicles for which their seems to be pent up high demand
for cheap electric vehicles
all this before they run out of cash
it will be difficult for Anteo to get across the line. hopefully they can show the partners enough that they stump up some cash and take equity or some sort of exclusivity once the patents are finalized. any changes there brick?
anyway arguing the science of climate change is to me like arguing about politics or religion. it just takes too much effort for little benefit
we can see that solar and wind are being built in increasing numbers coupled with the need for batteries as part of the storage story
