Appreciate your POV, Stocky, I'm fully aware I could be wrong. That said, the data is inconclusive. No doubt the Earth is dying, but so is every living thing. At what rate is the magic question and from what I've seen we simply don't have enough data to conclude.
I personally don't think AGW should be our biggest driver for change (see my other post). Depletion of natural resource with a growing energy demand should be what's driving our R&D imho.
On a completely random note, the failure to convert from conventional energy generation to renewables may be what actually saves the human race. AI and robotics may soon replace us as planet dwellers. I'd be more concerned about that than global warming, as the e-revolution is occurring at a much more rapid rate than AGW. If we can't power machines, maybe they won't kill us all.... ;-)
