buc - never say never, because anything can happen. the code GDA, in stockmarket terms means Greatest Dog in Australia - and as a dog stock, this stock reigns supreme.
from the start, this company was never going to make it -the date of incorporation coincided when the planet pluto, got stuck up uranus .. in other words it was always going to be a dog of a stock, with a bit of a smell to it
the management though, deserve gold medals, for their tireless endeavours to keep the show on the road.
anyway, for the few thousand oz of gold that the company has, then the most obvious spot to treat the ore, is at the st barbara mill at marvel loch - but the following from a recent sbm report..
'Southern Cross Operations is expected to cease operations and be placed on care and maintenance in the December 2012 quarter, ' . . . once the southern cross mill is shut down, then forget it - there is no chance that gda will be able to have the ore processed.
anyway, before any mining can take place, mining permits need to be granted etc etc -ground needs to be converted to a mining lease etc etc. one way or the other, the company might have to spend more money convert probable reserves into proven reserves.etc etc.
as watso mentioned - once the sbm mill is closed down then forget it - because the grade of the gda stuff, is not enough to justify a long haul to any other processing centre
