In a nut shell, a recent NT study of hydraulic fracking & future gas usage failed to consider NT industries like VRM's phosphate mine. Verdant Minerals managing director Chris Tziolis has responded to tuned them up, raise their awareness and to promote Verdant's project.
"It didn’t contemplate any downstream usage and I think it sold the Territory’s potential short, especially given we will be sending gas to Queensland to sustain a fertiliser industry through the North Gas Pipeline,” he said.
I'm sure questions will now be asked given the NT government's commitment to new industries and jobs. Good to see VRM are on the ball.
