My observation of the options recently is that they are becoming a lot quicker to adjust to the head price i.e. tail=head-15c
At Pre Open this morning watching the heads and tails line up for the bell:
* there was a bundle of 950k heads for sale @ 17c - these were pulled from the sell side at 9.50am and the next offer was at 18.5c
* on the tails side the price adjusted virtually simultaneously with the option offer immediately increasing by 1.5c
I would not be surprised at all if serious investors/financial advisors have a linked-in price adjustment mechanism programmed into their platforms to take advantage of exactly these situations, where there's a discrepancy between heads and tails. Money for jam! And if's there's not a program in existence to do this then I'll go and get someone to write it. Huge opportunity - just scoop up the money.
When it comes to converting tails I would think most investors wouldn't have too much of a problem raising the cash, having it at hand, selling other shares, putting it Mastercard etc
