If the share price is be;ow 15c then it does not pay to convert and you simply let them expire and they are worthless when not converted
You can use in 2 ways
1 to get leverage

say you want to get a million shares but only have $35000 Purchase 1 mill oppies for $32000 You then have 14 months to find $150000 for the shares If they have risen easy to sort out
Also if the shares rise the options will rise near to the corresponding amount now they are in the money

2 Other way is to reduce risk eg your life savings are 150k but you want a million shares but wont risk everything in a share as even the best shares can fall out of bed.
Buy 1 million options and then you only risk 32k of your hard earned money

You could also find your happy medium between risk and leverage
Even if the share goes to $1 as some here believe it will you will only pay 15c(+your original 3.2c ) for your shares
The options are tradeable and will follow the share price

Following on from Charl, if you don't have the $150k to convert 1m options to 1m shares, you can sell some and use the proceeds from the sold options to convert the rest ie..

If OEX goes up to 25c and options are 10c, you can sell 600,000 options for $60k and convert the remaining 400,000 options to shares at 15c for $60k without using any of your own money so to speak...
