Very happy to see the water issue mentioned TME, for me this has been the bated breath issue. Every time I see a tight gas well fail it has invariably been down to water.
Just wondering is it possible to contain a vertical fracturing rock to a particular layer of rock as the next layer is not ammenible to fracture? Just asking cause when you see anns were the well has failed they will say something to the effect that the fracture went vertically into an aquifer. Was please to see these guys mentioning the good aspect of a vertical fracture, re the production of a horizontal well.
