This just going up on speculation. Say offer price is 14 cents per share that would equate ~$160m take over over. NST has cash war chest about $300m+. If it is a cash offer it will take half of its cash and NST unlikely go into to debt. I think this unlikely. I suppose they could go for a script offer. But do they want dilute their shareholding? NST also announced that looking to take a stake at the Kalgoorlie superpit. I don't know I think a takeover by NST was an option and the they have approached the TAM board, but I thinking for NST there are better options to invest their war chest.
