The resolutive condition would probably have included the cash component, too. But if the involved nominee companies had become desitute after all the cash had went on hookers and Honda CR-Vs (what a bad taste!), it would indeed have become difficult to recover the money.
Based on the comments made during the ongoing ICAC investigation the other Cascade deposit that would have been left, Glendon Brook (EL7405), appears to be not worth much either.
