I would agree this is clearly an attack against Islam for his perceived injustices. Why? He identifies as a white man under attack from Islam. When Muslims attack, they identify as Muslims under attack from some outside group. Identifying too strongly with racial and religious groupings and not as individual people is the problem, the second problem is that while society cracks down hard on one group seeking to organise (the whites) it actually encourages other groups to organise. These "minority" groups claim victimhood and get special laws and funding while an increasingly marginalised group gets discriminated against causing resentment.

We need to get back to a colour blind society or this stuff will keep happening as an increasingly hostile and marginalised group becomes more radical.
