I was doing some research on Pakistan's nuclear energy program and in 2011 - about the time of the Fukushima incident - they were running at about 600MWe of nuclear energy. Today, in 2018, they've nearly doubled that to around 1,318MWe of nuclear energy via 5 operating reactors.
Pakistan has another 2 reactors in construction which will take their capacity to around 3,500MWe soon. By 2030 Pakistan which has a population of nearly 200 million people plan to have around 10 sites producing 8,000Mwe of nuclear power. Don't expect them to stop here either.
In India - similar story - India has 22 operable nuclear reactors, with a combined net capacity of 6.2 GWe or 6,200 MWe. In 2017, nuclear generated 3% of the country's electricity. The Indian government is committed to growing its nuclear power capacity as part of its massive infrastructure development programme. The government in 2010 set an ambitious target to have 14.6 GWe or 14,600MWe nuclear capacity online by 2024. At the start of 2019 seven reactors were under construction in India, with a combined capacity of 5.4 GWe.
So whilst we in the west twiddle our fingers and stick our middle finger up to nuclear, developing countries like Pakistan, China, India and many through Africa are looking at how they can ratchet up their use of nuclear.
