Hi Dhm,
Autism cannot be "cured", however, it is a management that Mente Autism is aiming to improve.
My personal view is that a child in the Spectrum has issues being "socially awkward" as the child is not able to process certain socially acceptable behavior the same way the majority of the children who are not in the spectrum.
With the help of Mente Autism, the child would be able to focus longer and better to assist them to integrate with their peer group and not be "bullied" or ostracized.
In the formative years of the child's development will determine their self esteem and confidence in the future. So by using Mente Autism to manage at this stage would be most ideal to develop their social skills.
A long way round to answer your question, but yes, the child will require a continued usage for quite a few years. There is one video from Italy where the parents mentioned that they stopped using it after a few months, and the child started to "play up" more and they re-started the usage again.
I would imagine the most effective age range would be 2 to 12 years old for behavior and learning management.
