what a story of corruption, incompetence, and wealth destruction.

Corruption

For the past decade (yes 10 yrs) it has been known that Railcorp was corrupt to its core. Management had become gold medal winners at NOT KNOWING WHAT WAS GOING ON.
A former minister Scully said it sickened him to come to work in that environment. Vince Graham was elevated to another plum job after presiding over unprecedented corruption. He told ICAC his gaze was fixed in the other direction
You can imagine the character references written by mimnister watkins so that Vince could spread his corrupt mien to other sections of the Public Service.
Its a mates club in NSW and Labor is its patron

Incomptence

The Govt by its corruption was utterly incompetent in everything except curruption. And so was ERG.

To accept working on the Tcard day after day when nobody from the transport ministry was conferring with them. If you look at any major infrastructure projuect in Australia...it is joint project between the customer and provider.
the customer provided little or no input. Despite this being a prject of major importance.

It was not the technology that was the issue, it was the failure of Govt to bite the bullet and streamine the 100 yr old convoluted and archaic fare syste.

Preservation of seats was the focus and the boys in NSW Labor were adept at this. And the unfortunate weakness of the opposition allowed Labor to spread their corrupt tentacles far and wide.
Mr Watkins is a clenskin?

Is he?

How can he as minister preside over such corruption and see the public servant who presided over this get a big promotion

It does not add up

And what has Mr Watkins achieved in the portfolio?

Nothing that I can see.

he does not have the vision and guts to serve the people of NSW

I am looking forward to the court case....
